The location right in the center of the old town, convenient enough to treat yourself with a tasty yet made with the local pride and authenticity meal at the end of the day especially after a long walking day. The service is good, much appreciation goes to the owner who can give very good recommendations on local specialties. I would come back to this restaurant in future visits

We had the best home made blueberry pasta and duck ragu, and our son had the fillet steak with wine sauce. All the food was so good! We shared cheese post meal and a chocolate salami which was lovely. It was very reasonably priced and would recommend!

We happened upon the restaurant while walking the city and the menu looked good, so we made reservations. The restaurant is cozy, with a nice interior. The service was attentive and friendly. There is an English menu. The food was very good. Between us we had a burrata, tortellini with eggplant filling, veal with mustard/chive sauce & chicken in a savory sauce. All were excellent. The wine list, while not too extensive, features wines of the region and covers all the bases. The atmosphere is cordial and welcoming. We made a good choice!

We arrive rather late but had call in advance to ask if the kitchen was still open. We were greated with great hospitality and treated to local delicacies of the rare sort!
The staff made us feel comfortable and at ease althought we were the last guests and they were about to close.
A great place for a dinner date or an evening with your family in style.

Probably the best pasta we've tried so far in Italy. Apart from that, this restaurant has some of the things I like the most: a classic yet charming atmosphere, good, traditional and non pretentious food at a very reasonable prices.

The best restaurant in town, at the central part. where it is nearby the parking place, near the old wall side, and the central shopping street. the Patelli runs by the Patelli family, that is also an important family in Trento city for years of history. Their cousin is simply chic and delicious. You can try all the typical local food with a high michellin level touch by their chef. highly recommended for whom just need a lunch break, or all the tourist that need to try the typical local food. The Canederli and the Strudel are the 2 must try!

In a restaurant that run by husband and wife, who are attentive to every request and desire of customers,the only choice is to be an happy customer. We arrived at the restaurant by chance without any prior knowledge, and found one of the gastronomic pearls we had ever come across. The restaurant owner is a real Italian, a kind man with a lot of respect for food, place, himself, staff, and of course the guests. It was a good experience, one that takes away, and there is no doubt that we will return.

Looking for somewhere open on a Monday evening in Trento we discovered this gem of a restaurant. Family run but with professional service and great food. We both had pasta for the main course and it was some of the best pasta we have eaten. Home made and perfectly cooked.

We chose the Patelli bsed upon a recommendation. We were glad we did. The owner gave a brief education on the local wines and then paired a wine to our dinner. Mine was a tagliatelle made with blueberries in a duck ragu. I also enjoyed their soup and desert. We enjoyed the meal so much, we went back the next night. The owner greeted us, provided more wine education and again paired the wine to our dinner selections. I had a more classic meal and it was also great. If I had a third night in Trento I may have gone back again.
This is only my second or third five star rating.

When we first entered they were very welcoming. They noticed we didn’t speak Italian but that didn’t matter, they switched to English with no problem and made sure we were comfortable at our table. I ordered the burrata and the duck ragu pasta. Both were excellent. Highly recommended. The ingredients were fresh and everything tasted as expected and better from an Italian dish. When leaving, we struck a conversation with what seemed to be the owner, he was very nice hoped we enjoyed our stay in the region and thanked us for coming to Trento for the work we did.
